The Year In Review

2019 has been a tremendous year at Bongo Live. As a company, we’ve experienced success and growth in many areas. From expanding our team, increasing participation at both regional and global events, introducing new services and extending our coverage and reach across Africa and beyond!

Our Team

We on boarded 5 team members across all departments including Sales & Marketing, Technical Support and Engineering. In 2020, we’re making our push towards serving you even better!

New Products and Services

In an attempt to offer a unified communications platform to our customers to enable them to reach, interact and transact with their customers with ease and to add on to our existing SMS services, we launched Mobile Airtime, Mobile Payments, USSD and Chatbot services.

Furthermore, we launched a Developer Champion Certification Program. The aim of the program is to bring exciting projects opportunities to freelance developers who complete our certification program by integrating our APIs on a real application. All successful applicants get to earn a free certificate and get referred to customers who seek to integrate with Bongo Live APIs but do not have the technical capabilities.

It is through these events that we got an opportunity to showcase our services and build our network.

Things to look forward to in 2020

It seems like 2019 has flown by very fast. In the upcoming year we want to continue to capitalize on our achievements to date in terms of our product suite and mobile operator reach. We will focus on growing our customer base and use cases for our Airtime, Mobile Payment and USSD solutions. We also look forward to continue expanding our mobile operator reach in new African countries as well as on boarding at least one additional operator where we already have reach.
